Publisher Bandai Namco and developer AQURIA have released the second major DLC Blooming of Matricaria for action-adventure Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. The story of Blooming of Matricaria takes place after the events of the Ancient Apostles series and the Blooming of Forget-me-not.
The expansion content will be accessible from the title menu for users who have purchased DLC #2 or the Premium Pass and have completed the main story. The DLC is composed of multiple chapters. Once the DLC scenario begins, certain contents from the main game will be limited for an extended period until the DLC is cleared, additionally as the party members are fixed in the DLC, multiplayer will not be available to progress the story.
When the story of the DLC is in progress, players will not be able to access the Memory Arena, Raid Dungeons, and Raid quests. During the story, there are restrictions on organizing party members, saving, and fast travel
