Rockstar has announced the latest free update to GTA Online, bringing the latest illicit business, The Chop Shop, into the game. Players will have new opportunities to tap into their inner criminal by taking vehicles to Yusuf Amir’s Salvage Yard where they’ll be sliced and diced and sold off to the highest bidder. These criminal activities include some of the most coveted rides in the city. The update is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Developers have released a new trailer that showcases the nefarious deeds that players can participate in, including Salvage Yard Robberies.
Salvage Yard Robberies offer players a host of new ways to engage with the game. With weekly target vehicles to collect for Yusuf and Daily Challenges to complete, players will have plenty of ways to earn a bad ass reputation and earn some sweet rewards. These include new vehicles to choose from including the Turismo Omaggio, Law Enforcement Vehicles, and more.
Alongside the new Chop Shop activities, players can also head to the LS Car Meet to check out Drift Racing. This includes new vehicle mods that help players achieve the perfect drift. Other notable components of the update include “an entire ecosystem of animals in Freemode” and the Vinewood Club Garage especially for GTA+ players. Here, they can store up to 100 of their favorite vehicles. Lastly, players will find a number of requested experience improvements. More details about those are available here.
