MyTona and Fntastic have announced that their MMO The Day Before is delayed until November 10th. Initially set to be released on March 1st, the game’s delay is due to a rather unusual circumstance. According to the development team, after the game’s announcement in January 2021, a trademark was filed for “The Day Before.” When the game’s release date was announced, Steam blocked its page creation “at the request of a private individual.” As a result, the game’s release has been moved back eight months to resolve the issue. Whether this means making a deal with this individual or changing the game’s name remains to be seen.
Previously, we were not aware of the existence of claims. We found out about this only on January 19, 2023, when we received a complaint from him and a request to contact him. Now we have found out all the circumstances of the incident, we will definitely solve everything. We previously planned to post a lengthy gameplay video later this month, but we’ll have to sort this issue out first. We will post a video as soon as possible.

The Day Before official site is seriously lacking in any information. Up to now, all information about the features and systems in the game were posted exclusively on the Steam page that has since been taken down. However, the site has links to all of the developers’ social media accounts and is worth keeping an eye on as this drama plays out.
