The Good Life Has A Release Date

The Good |Life has a release date, launching Swery’s latest title on PC and console next month.

Get ready for a detective thriller from the mind of gaming auteur Swery. The mind behind Deadly Premonition has been busily working on bringing their latest title to players. Thanks to a recent press release, we now know that The Good Life is set to launch on October 15th across Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The release date comes after a successful Kickstarter in 2019 and several delays to this tale, the most recent during this summer.

What Is The Good Life?

Heading off to the United Kingdom, The Good Life is more than an opportunity to bask in the great British summer. This small town detective lark takes place in the town of Rainy Woods, an unassuming homestead with little suspicious about it, probably. Taking control of Naomi, a New York-based photographer, players must uncover the real face of the “happiest town in the world”. Honestly, it’s all sounding a bit Hot Fuzz right now. Race against the clock tracing multiple leads and solve mysteries as a human, a cat, or a dog! Getting to the bottom of this mystery will require you to cook, eat, sleep, shop, farm, and explore the town, taking on photography jobs and other more “unconventional” quests.

This slice of life come defective tale doesn’t just allow players to explore and snap photos. There are acres to explore, an entire system dedicated to harvesting crops, a clothing system, Swery’s distinctive style, and sheep riding. Yep, sheep riding. If you reckon Story of Seasons is a bit too wholesome then check out the trailer for The Good Life above and find out more over on the official website now.
