VAIL VR Social Takes Aim At The Lobby With New Add Ons

VR shooter Vail VR is about to change up the traditional pre match lobby experience with a new set of community focused features.

Just revealed and coming to the tactical VR shooter soon, the newly announced additions to Vail will introduce a set of highly requested features that take the traditional pre match shenanigans from other team battles and blow them up to create a laid back environment for the community. Rather than just add a colorful box room and a few spray tags, developer AEXLAB is expanding its social tools and spaces, allowing players to meet with friends within its virtual world to play mini-games, listen to music or even watch movies together. While combatants will be able to still fool around before matches, they will also be able to put down their weapons and make some new friends. Whether you’d rather dance the night away at a nightclub, meditate, see a movie, or even play some music, there should be tons of opportunities to greet the rest of the community without having to log onto an app like Guilded.

“We’re incredibly excited for VAIL Social. It’s a place for people to meet, make friends, and share new experiences. AEXLAB believes VR is a first class social experience and it’s important for the community to have individual places for themselves and their friends, where they can relax after intense play in VAIL VR.” – Jonathan Ovadia, CEO of AEXLAB.

Vail is set to roll out the fun early next year, and players can get in on a closed alpha for the upcoming content. Check out more about the action or request access to the testing over at the official Steam Store page for Vail VR now.
