It’s a new year with new games already on the horizon moving forward. In our newest article, we take a look at the games of 2024 and how they’re setting the stage for a terrific year in gaming. See if your favorite title made the cut.
Portal Revolution

In Portal Revolution we will find a full-fledged storyline, unfamiliar characters and more than 40 tasks with new mechanics. The project was created on a modified version of the engine from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and in the future plans to acquire convenient tools and its own soundtrack. For people who miss this series, it is highly recommended to complete it.
Sovereign Syndicate

A Victorian steampunk RPG with tarot cards instead of dice. Investigate the disappearance of society’s most vulnerable to uncover a mysterious cult. Play as three characters, each with their own skills and motivations. Customize your characters with narrative choices to unlock new tarot cards.
Bulletstorm VR
- Release date: January 18, 2024
The official port of the beloved first-person shooter for virtual reality headsets. The re-release of Bulletstorm will receive controls adapted for VR devices, but, apparently, you can’t expect other noticeable improvements such as updated graphics or redesigned gameplay. It is coming for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest Pro, and PS VR2.
There will be no changes in the plot either. The events of the game, as before, will unfold in the 26th century, and its main character will be space pirate Grayson Hunt, who, together with his crew, crashes on an abandoned resort planet, where he enters into battle with his former mentor, General Sarrano. If you like: Bulletstorm, first person shooters, and VR games this is the game for you.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an action-adventure platformer that offers a new take on the story of the famous Prince of Persia and his companions.
The focus is the story of a young warrior named Sargon, who goes in search of the Prince, but finds himself in a cursed land where time flows differently from the world he is familiar with. The hero will have to overcome enchanted lands in order to reach the goal of his journey, simultaneously defeating many monsters and meeting many interesting personalities. Although the game was met with skepticism, the players who managed to play it liked the game, so we’ll see if the game will become a new round of history for an excellent series of games.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered PS5

The formula “selling while they buy” works not only for Todd Howard. Neil Druckman has mastered it perfectly, and now offers to buy old games at full price on a console that is no longer new. Now the turn of The Last of Us Part 2 has come – the game will receive improved graphics, support for 4K resolution with 30 frames per second. And if you want to play at 60 FPS, you will have to reduce the resolution to 1440p.
They also promise improved textures and shadows, faster loading, support for adaptive DualSense chickens and much more.

Enshrouded is an action game with role-playing elements in which you have to fight for survival by crafting objects from scrap materials. The game takes place in the vastness of the continent, created through a voxel system. Traveling through mountains and deserts, you are free to choose your own path, which will determine your destiny.

Perhaps afraid of competition from Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1, the company
Bandai Namco has made a strategic decision to postpone the eighth part of “The King of the Iron Fist” to early 2024. Perhaps this is for the best. Since evil tongues say that there are very few differences from the previous part of the series. But fans of the genre will try the game in any case and will already say whether there was something new or a repetition of the same thing.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy

The second collection of re-releases of visual novels from the Ace Attorney series. Developers from Capcom have updated three games about lawyers Apollo Justice and Phoenix Wright for modern platforms.
The bundle will receive 16 episodes, two of which were previously available only in DLC. The set will also include a virtual orchestra room for listening to the soundtrack, an art library where you can look at various pieces of art, and a special animation studio with character models where you can recreate various scenes. Developers from Capcom noted that there will be no changes to the story content.

Corsairs Legacy is a 3rd person open world adventure RPG that bills itself as the spiritual successor to the popular pirate saga Corsairs. The game takes place in 1689. The famous pirate Captain Blood has taken over as governor of Jamaica, so the Caribbean is in need of new sea dogs hunting for treasure.
The player will play as smuggler John Rackham, who by chance became a pirate, but it is we who have to decide his fate, since all decisions will have consequences, and the developers promise complete freedom.
