Snow Plowing Simulator from the developer FreeMind S.A., the same studio that released House Builder and Forest Ranger Simulator. A release date for this game has yet to be announced, but you can already add it to your wishlist on Steam and try out the free demo. This is our Snow Plowing Simulator demo review.
Snow Plowing Simulator is a realistic blend of simulation and survival, and this game will make you sweat: frosts, winter clothes, cold weather, need for food, short days, long nights, no sun, snow, ice, snowfall, blizzards, and more. It’s exhausting, particularly if you live in a place where this is a daily thing in the winter! Players will learn about the job of clearing snow and how difficult it is to master while learning the business and all possible cleaning machines to make the job easier. Maybe some people miss shoveling snow and want to remember that feeling. In any case, it’s best to check out the Snow Plowing Simulator demo available on Steam.
In Snow Plowing Simulator, you will start your adventure with one shovel in hand, clearing snow only in small areas and adjacent territories of neighbors and fulfilling neighbors’ orders. But by earning some money, you can buy more serious cars and grow your business to clean public roads.
Gameplay
What can I say, this is a simulator and here you need to monitor both the cold and the food, and somehow complete the tasks that you undertake? And yes, no matter how strange it may be, you will have to remove a lot of snow. And to say that this is at least a little bit exciting is to lie or say nothing. And not to say that I’m tired of this activity or that I’m tired of simulators, I don’t think so, but in this game, it’s not exciting, difficult, or addictive. And these are the same developers who made Forest Ranger Simulator a game that draws you in with its views and even its monotonous gameplay.
But let’s talk about all the aspects that are in the game. The main elements that I can highlight are snow and its cleaning, the world, character development, and activities.
Well, let’s start with a simple one – snow, the factor on which the game is based. The snow doesn’t look bad, and it’s nice to get around, but when it comes to clearing it, the game definitely gives a little slack – it’s definitely unpleasant to clear, but there’s nothing difficult in clearing it or anything like that. The whole process after a couple of minutes from such cleaning turns into just walking along the lines, with an ideal trajectory, even though the character freezes, wants to eat, and can get sick. So there are a lot of mechanics in the game that was created to make life difficult for you. The game does not cause a desire to create or explore.
As for the world and how we can develop. The game world is small, where you can roam and, as it was said, travel, but all this is still limited to one city where we will work, take orders and develop our business. As for the character and why we should develop it, well, there is not much here. There cannot be much, there will only be improvements in technology, and warming of the character.
Features of the game include
- several dozen different levels to be passed, including properties, parking lots, alleys, roads,
- an open world with a small mountain town and varied mountain terrain with many narrow and steep mountain roads,
- a dozen or so different tools for manual snow removal, with different work efficiency and operating systems,
- various vehicles for more demanding tasks (tractors, pickup trucks, trucks)
- a system of interchangeable plows for vehicles that completely change the operating characteristics,
- advanced weather system, day and night system,
- 3 game modes: linear leveling, open world and RPG for the more inquisitive players!
And yes, there is Bigfoot in the game.
This game looks a little strange in 2023. The game does not differ in any kind of gameplay or innovation. I hope that the game will be released in the best possible way from what has now been demonstrated in the demo.
