CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 is free to play this weekend for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players. From March 28th to March 31st, no subscription is required and players can tackle the game unrestricted for up to five hours.
During the free play event, players can experience the base game, including “the groundbreaking Update 2.0,” which brought massive changes to the game, including gameplay overhauls, redesigned skill tress, better perks, vehicle combat, a new police system, and more. Also included is the content found in Update 2.1, which includes the fully functional metro system, radio stations, new vehicles, and more. Players opting to purchase the game after the weekend is complete will have their progress carried over to the full version of the game.
