South Africa Reserve Brings New Fishing Challenges to Call of the Wild: The Angler

Expansive Worlds and Avalanche Studios have announced the release of the South Africa Reserve DLC for Call of the Wild: The Angler. Players can pick up a copy for $9.99 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Epic Games Store, Windows Store, and Steam. Those who do not yet own the game can reel in a free copy of the base game via Epic Games Store through March 28th.

Today’s launch trailer offers viewers a look at the new fish species, points of interest, activities, missions, and fishing hubs.

Features include

  • Thirteen new fish species, including the African Sharptooth Catfish, African Mottled Eel, and Spotted Bass.
  • Fishing Hubs offer players a central location to pick up and complete missions, hone new skills, and more. These fishing hubs are exclusive to South Africa, allowing players to improve their fishing techniques and offering exclusive rewards inspired by each hub.
