If you’ve had enough of 2021 and want to jump right into the holidays, the Animal Crossing – New Horizons team has you covered. Players will be receiving a free update on November 19th that will bring a host of holiday cheer to the game including new hairstyles, snow, and tons more.
Here’s what’s in store for the holidays:
- Turkey Day on November 26 – Franklin will arrive and host a special gathering in the plaza. Players can help collect ingredients and can even receive a gift from Franklin by way of thanks.
- Toy Day on December 24 – From November 19th to Toy Day, the island and plaza will become increasingly more festive with special holiday-themed decorations. Finding specially decorated trees and giving them a good shake can yield ornaments that allow players to craft holiday furniture recipes.
- From December 1 to December 25, players can purchase toys from Nook’s Cranny and find specially themed clothing at Able Sisters.
- Jingle will come visit on December 24. Players who help him deliver gifts can receive one of their own.
- Nine new Reactions and Hairstyles.
- A Home Storage upgrade
- Visit Random Islands in Dreams
- A collaboration between New Horizons and Pocket Camp to celebrate the latter’s third anniversary.
- Island and Resident data transfers
- New Year’s Eve seasonal items
