Amazon Prime Gaming Goes Retro for February Free Games

The February Free Games List for Amazin Prime gaming is filled with Atari legends.

Get ready to grab more free games and feel a sense of nostalgia wash over February as Amazon Prime Gaming gives away a bunch of reinvented Atari classics. The team behind the likes of Twitch and your monthly subscribe and save has announced this month, Prime subscribers will get to loot the likes of Breakout: 4000, Missile Command: Recharged, and more. Just toad to the retro feel of this month’s selection, Fallout will also unlock for free.

Log into the Prime gaming loot page and claim the following as the month unfolds.

  • Fallout – The original post-apocalyptic RPG in this massive franchise. Explore the devastated ruins of a once golden age civilization, fight mutants, and just try to survive in this ionic CRPG.
  • Breakout Recharged – Simple to play, but utterly addictive. Break the wall and replay this old school bat and ball game with added power-ups and new challenges.
  • Missile Command: Recharged – Another arcade icon returns with bigger graphics, more twists, and the same classic fight or die attitude of the original. Protect cities from an onslaught of missiles, tanks and more in this modern take the original Missile Command.
  • Criminal Archives: Alphabetic Murders – Collector’s Edition – This murder mystery isn’t much of a retro return, but it does embody the point and click genre, a mainstay of low-resolution gaming. If you can uncover the connection between three different murder cases the maybe, you’ll win out in this brain teaser.
  • Tempest 4000 – Another Atari game back with a bright neon attitude, humping beats, and the same classic gameplay that took us experienced gamers on a journey to blow up anything that gets in our way.
  • Blade Assault – Something of an outlier among the Atari classics this month, Blade Assault is a 2022 release by Neowiz. The 2D retro aesthetic fits in perfectly, but it brings modern mechanics to the side scrolling adventure. Taking on the role of a resistance fighter in a devastated land, you’ll a diverse set of skills, a ton of upgrades, and big lasers as you engage in dynamic combat to overcome a corrupt military.
  • Gravitar: Recharged – Test your skills as pilot while completing missions throughout the solar system in this revamped cult classic.
Luna

While we were impressed with January’s Luna line up, all good things. Control leaves the Luna free play list, and Amazon Prime subscribers in the US, UK, Canada, Italy, France, Spain and Germany can play a new selection of premium titles today. You don’t even need a high-end gaming system. Anybody with a compatible system and internet access across, iOS, Android, PC, Mac or other smart device can play Inertial Drift, Garfield Lasagna Party, Kunai, Inside My Radio and The Jackbox Party Pack 10 across the internet. Thanks to the streaming capability of Amazon’s own network, all the computational magic goes on in the cloud. The same goes for Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival and Trackmania.
