Ankama has unveiled an all-new strategic deck builder called One More Gate: A Wakfu Legend. The Steam early access game is set in the Wakfu universe and offers players an opportunity to explore a rogue-lite deck builder with tons of awesome features. Players will find a number of familiar RPG elements inside the game. These features include turn-based combat, an immersive story set in the Wakfu universe, and charismatic characters.
During early access, players will have access to a wide array of game features including:
- 2 dungeons to discover and explore.
- 70 runes to combine to create dreadful combos.
- A quest system designed for the fearless ones.
- Different types of merchants and items to acquire.
- A cozy Inn, where players can edit decks and view their own collections.
- A remodeled interface following the players’ feedback collected during the demo.
To provide players with a peek into the development future of the game, the team has published a fairly detailed roadmap. It includes new content coming in throughout the winter of 2022-2023 and more mysterious “TBA” content that will arrive sometime after. Players can expect new NPCs, new items, and more. In addition, the developers have committed themselves to acknowledge and use community feedback to make improvements in the game and/or add new features.
