Annihilation Instinct DLC Brings New Story Content to Atomic Heart

Focus Entertainment and Mundfish have announced that Annihilation Instince has launched into Atomic Heart on all platforms. The DLC is part of the Gold and Premium editions of the game, which will include three more DLCs in the future. The DLC can also be obtained as a stand-alone purchase for $9.99. It’s an excellent time to buy into one of the most successful games launched this year. Steam players can purchase the base game up to 40% off the regular price.

The dev team has released a new trailer that showcases story, locations, high-octane gameplay, and much more. Players will find an entirely new area to explore, new weapons to collect, new enemies to slay, and a new glove ability.

Features

  • Continue the story in the Annihilation Instinct  DLC and learn what happened to this dystopian world after the climax of Atomic Heart.
  • Prepare to embark on a journey through the new mind-bending Mendeleev Complex and its surrounding swamps. Discover the truth about NORA as Major P-3 is pulled back into Facility 3826.
  • Survive vicious, shape-shifting new enemies and take them down using two cunning new weapons: A ranged one, the Secateur, and a melee one, the Klusha. You’ll also earn your glove’s new Techno-Stasis ability, allowing you to manipulate time itself.
  • Meet a new enigmatic character and returning ones in surprising circumstances and dive deep into the AI’s insanity to curb its Annihilation Instinct.

Players will also gain access to the new Game+ Mode, considered the game’s most difficult mode yet. “You will need all your previously unlocked skills and arsenal to deal with the strongest enemies ever unleashed. Each has new specific resistances and attack effects which will be reflected in the different colors of the enemy’s aura.”
