Humble has announced its slate of Humble Choice games for April 2023. Death Stranding: Director’s Cut anchors the entire sweet list that subscribers will gain access to this month. It is considered one of the most acclaimed games in the past several years. Players will also receive access to seven other games, including Aliens: Fireteam Elite and Life is Strange 2: Complete Season. Lastly, 5% of this month’s membership will go to Cool Effect, which helps give people “power and confidence to band together and reduce the carbon pollution that causes climate change.”
Humble Choice games for April 2023
- Death Stranding: Director’s Cut – You play as Sam Bridges (played by The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus), on a mission to reconnect the isolated survivors of a post-apocalyptic world where the barrier between life and death has been blurrily breached.
- Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Play solo with an A.I. fireteam, or join forces with up to two friends to splatter some cavern walls with acid blood. Fireteam Elite features multiple classes, tons of weapons and perks to customize your play, and infinite excuses to give everyone your best “Game over, man!”
- Rollerdrome – Part third-person arcade shooter and part sports game, you’re tasked with lacing up the ol’ clay wheels and making your way through this dangerous new world of deadly sports entertainment with equal parts style and brutality.
- Life is Strange 2: Complete Season – As 16-year-old Sean, you’ll solve puzzles and engage in branching dialogue trees while protecting your younger brother, Daniel, who displays a gift of telekinesis after a tragedy turns the two into fugitives looking for safety in the arms of distant family.
- The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante – As the once-great empire you were born into begins to crumble, you’ll be turning pages of a virtual novel that represents Sir Brante’s entire existence.
- Monster Prom 2: Monster Camp – In 5 weeks, there’s going to be a meteor shower, which isn’t a lot of time before hot-monster summer is officially over. The choices you make and the places you choose to spend time will affect your stats and who’s into you, so play it smart or play it cool, depending on who you want to smooch before heading home.
- Founders’ Fortune – A charming but basic art direction hides an incredibly deep game that will have you building your ideal society both on a structural and personality level. Assign quirky villagers to roles that get them experience and specialization that advances them along towards their aspirations.
- Revita – Journey from a strange subway to the top of a mysterious clock tower In Revita, a rogue-lite that blends frantic twin-stick action and platforming into a curious and darkly charming package.
