One of the PS4 players of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey over at Resetera had found an unusual message in his game after he updated it with the latest chapter of the DLC. Here is what Eoin said:
“Yesterday when the DLC released the game did the usual pop-up prompt to let me know it was there and downloadable. I went to the PlayStation Store, started the download, waited for it to finish, jumped back into the game, and when the PS4 resumed the game, the cursor had this message stuck to it:
It followed the cursor around the menus:
So, there’s something there already called My Stories, either present and waiting to be unlocked or (as the message suggests), partially present and waiting for an update to complete the feature.
(I checked all the menus, there was nothing new, just this one message following the cursor around).”
Following the message of Community Manager on the Social Pulse and the tease from AccessTheAnimus, it seems all but officially confirmed that Ubisoft will announce new community-oriented mode or story/quest creator tool for the game at E3 2019.
#AssassinsCreed Odyssey to receive a “Story Creator Mode” which further emphasizes on player choice, according to a post by Community Manager @domvgt on the Social Pulse. Apparently, this is what’s the “story mode” option (seen in previous monthly updates video) was likely about pic.twitter.com/hELAqFjrvK
