Mythical City Games has announced the sequel to their tank based strategy game Battle Fleet 2. The sequel, entitled Battle Fleet: Ground Assault, is now available on Steam for both Windows PC and MacOS.
“Battle Fleet: Ground Assault has been in development for a couple of years now and we are happy to finally deliver this new installment of the franchise to the fans,” said Jedrzej Jonasz, CEO of Mythical City Games.
Battle Fleet: Ground Assault is a turn-based, tactical strategy game that focuses on the land battles. New features will include new armor and ammunition types, destructible environments, and a single player campaign to compliment the multiplayer mode. Starting with D-Day, players will begin on the beaches of Normandy as you battle across Europe. Taking control of each tank, you will choose how best to fight the Axis powers, using the right shells and tactics to deal with the armored divisions you are tasked with taking down.
While there is no release window yet, Mythical City Games is exploring VR Support for Battle Fleet: Ground Assault using the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality.
