Developer Triumph Studios and publisher Paradox Interactive released the latest installment in the beloved Age of Wonders series to a very positive response from the community and critics alike. Since the launch of the Age of Wonders 4, the developers have been hard at work on providing stability fixes, AI enhancements, tackling minor exploits and more.
The latest PC hotfix was rolled out yesterday, and it offers a variety of enhancements. Below you can find the highlights or proceed to the game’s Steam page to find the full list of changes.
Age of Wonders 4 – PC Hotfix #2 features:
- Added a setting for Monitor & GPU switching;
- Added a setting to Limit Framerate when the game window is not active;
- Added mitigation for GPU related issues;
- Fixed a number of crashes such as Realms with Regenerating Infestations;
- Fixed certain AI hangs like where AI would be unable to raze Outposts;
- Fixed an issue where Story Realm Quests would not resolve if a objective was completed before the Quest was received;
- Disabled Quick Save in Multiplayer;
Known Issues:
- Non-Functional Safe Area Ratio Slider
- AI Behaviour causing “Opponents are Moving” hangs or End Turn crashes
- Custom Titles reset in the finalize screen when editing a Custom Faction
- Province with Underground Water cannot construct Special Province Improvements
- Frequent Multiplayer Out of Sync, especially during Combat
