Gylt Gets a PC and Console Release Date.

Gylt - sally creeps through long grass

Gylt, the horror tinge title from tequila Works, is coming to PC and console systems on 6 July 2023.

PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC players will be able to pack their bag and head into a delicate horror tinge adventure when Gylt comes to haunt your home on 6 July 2023. Plunging players into a melancholic version of the real world, Gylt is a gorgeous looking creepy tale, where a lone little girl must make her way through a twisted reality where her fears and worse memories are presented in a wicked and very real way. The name might seem familiar, because it is. In 2019 Glyph was launched on Google Stadia. The now defunct Google game streaming platform might be gone, but the team at tequila Works are finally able to put this much lauded piece on other platforms. We don’t have a price yet, but Gylt is available to Wishlist on Steam right now.

Falling into the creepy but not gory bracket of your gaming library, this third person frightener is definitely more The Medium than Dead by Daylight. Anybody venturing out into this unfriendly environment will find themselves on a mission with Protagonist Sally. After her little sister disappears and she gets chased by bullies, things take a turn when the neighbourhood begins to embody her fears. Along the way you’ll get to face or flee those manifestations of Sally’s fears, solve puzzles, and delve into the truth behind this unfortunate turn of events.
Much like Rime and The Sexy Brutale this new old release is a deeply personal and evocative tale that you’ll want to give some time, even if you’re used to a little more hack and slash horrors. You can get a glimpse of Gylt in the trailer above, or head over to the official website now for more.

For those of you who I’ve not met yet, my name is Ed. After an early indoctrination into PC gaming, years adrift on the unwashed internet, running a successful guild, and testing video games, I turned my hand to writing about them. Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
