Humble Games and General Interactive Co. have released a new PC limited-time demo for the upcoming mystery adventure game, Chinatown Detective Agency. The demo allows players to dip their toes into the intriguing game world ahead of the Spring 2022 launch date where it will also be released for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
The game is inspired by the likes of the Carmen Sandiego games from the 80s and 90s and sends players on a globetrotting adventure to chase down criminals and witnesses and to find the clues needed to solve the case. Players will need to do real-world research to assist in solving puzzles and uncovering leads. It will be important to manage time and money to solve cases from well-heeled clients and those with less pure motives.
