Everyone wants to leave their mark one way or another. Some perform incredible feats such as climbing a mountain or making new and exciting discoveries. Others choose a more ‘outside the box’ approach to making the history books such as tightrope walking across skyscrapers, or heading over Niagara Falls in a barrel. In the case of gamer TheseKnivesOnly, a veteran Call of Duty player, leaving his mark included Prestiging in the latest CoD WWII, without firing a shot.
Relying entirely on knives, shovels, picks and other melee weapons, TheseKnivesOnly managed to push his way through the ranks, racking up quite a kill count with over 32,000 under his belt. Before you start calling out the use of lethal scorestreaks, he also only used Recon Aircraft and Counter Recon because apparently, gruelling hours of melee kills should have an extra dose of crazy.
Needless to say, quite a few gamers are impressed with this feat including the games developer Sledgehammer, Who in a reply tweet expressed their surprise and congratulations to the long-time Call of Duty player.
