Digital Extremes has revealed the new Dante Warframe during the weekend’s latest Devstream.
Prepare to master reality as the 56th Warframe comes to Digital Extreme’s huge online sci-fi ad entire. The latest update from the team behind this cross-platform epic dropped over the weekend and introduced a stunning addition to the arsenal of weapons available to players.
Inspired by traditional MMORPG casters, Dante makes use of recent Warframe developments to wield its own Exalted Weapon. The Tome, called Noctua, replaces any secondary weapon and can devastate enemies with a range of options. Casting Light or Dark Verses can increase allies’ max health or draw bloody needles to dish of Slash Damage on opponents. Depending on how you use this powerful companion will influence a spell combo’s final form. This Final Verse can either grant allies a sample of Noctua’s power or summon minions to fight alongside players.
This isn’t the only Warframe to feature, however. Players can find a rundown of the Inaros rework too. The master of sandstorms will get some significant changes. Scarab Armor separates into its own distinct ability, Devour is replaced with an improved Sandstorm option, and the Scarab Swarm ultimate will have a chance to spawn new allies on the battlefield. This established form is also expected to become more engaging, with changed up passives, better effect riggers, and a number of modifications to its base kit that should make it a more compelling choice.
Alongside the latest Warframes, the new stream delves into the new Murmur faction enemy. The oddly unnatural foes that dropped as part of the latest major expansion include a Gruzzling. This loot laden goblin has some significant drops that you’ll want to take a look at in the full replay.
The latest mission type also got an airing. Delving into the overall mechanics, Digital Extremes showcased a three-part playthrough, where players must overcome an amalgamation of three different existing mission types that must be played in succession with no breaks. The composition of Deep Archimedea will change every week, offering endless new challenges to overcome for some of the best in-game rewards to date.
