Devolver Digital Delays Weird West to March 2022

Weird West

Devolver Digital has announced that Weird West is being delayed a few months to March 31, 2022 from its original release date in “autumn 2021”. It will be released across multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. As would be expected, developers need more time to make the game into what the community expects. The announcement was made via a new trailer called “Road to Weird West: A Little Longer Road”.

Our recent preview of the game showed that it does indeed need a bit more time in the oven. LaSt04Ka wrote, “At the moment, the game has certain flaws, in particular, a scattering of bugs and the behavior of in-game settings. Unfortunately, when you re-enter the game the settings revert to the default state and force you to repeatedly adjust things like the volume of the music.” This among other flaws is likely the cause for the delay.
