The developers from Blizzard Entertainment shared the official preview of the new Season 31 arriving in Diablo 3 on April 12. Titled Season of the Forbidden Archives, it brings an exciting spin to the Kanai’s Cube. For the duration of the season, the slots in Kanai’s Cube that allow you to equip three additional Legendary powers. Moreover, they will not be restricted to their usual categories. Bring on your whackiest builds and get Rift-delving!
“While normally a player can equip one power each from the Weapon, Armor, and Jewelry categories, Season 31 players can mix and match between all three! This might allow you to run two Weapon powers with one Armor power. Or perhaps you might choose to run three Amulet powers instead. The choice is yours, and we’re as eager as you are to experiment with the new build opportunities this creates!”

- Barbarian – Wrath of the Wastes
- Crusader – Roland’s Legacy
- Demon Hunter – Unhallowed Essence
- Monk – Raiment of a Thousand Storms
- Necromancer – Bones of Rathma
- Witch Doctor – Helltooth Harness
- Wizard – Tal Rasha’s Elements
The developers are also bringing back some rewards from Season 7. If you have missed on your chance to acquire them, now is your chance! There are also End of Journey rewards, with two new cosmetic rewards for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. You HAVE to get the new Angelic Treasure Goblin pet to pick up all that gold in style.
