Blizzard is preparing to test the mettle of Diablo IV players with the latest challenge. On December 5th, descend into a most brutish trial: Abattoir of Zir.
The Abbatoir of Zir will serve as the endgame pinnacle dungeon for those who have completed the Season’s Journey. You will have 10 minutes to slay the horrors within and defeat Zir’s loyal Bloodseekers to succeed. On completion of each trial, an even more difficult challenge awaits…
Once players complete the Season’s Journey, they will unlock a recipe to craft a Bloodforged Sigil. Craft this at the Occultist to spawn the Visceral Channel in Ked Bardu which grants access to the Abattoir.
Upon successfully completing each tier of the dungeon, you’ll gain a recipe to craft the next tier’s Bloodforged Sigil. Completing the first tier of Abattoir unlocks the Unique Glyph: Tears of Blood. This Glyph requires significantly more experience to upgrade it compared to a typical Paragon Glyph. So prepare to visit the Abattoir a plenty for the sweet Paragon Glyph experience.
The Bloodforged Sigil and Abattoir of Zir both go to Level 25, each increasingly more difficult than the last.
The developers of Diablo IV have been on hand during the BlizzCon 2023. During the opening ceremony, the team revealed Vessel of Hatred, Diablo IV’s first expansion. It will be coming in late 2024. It will continue the dark tale of Diablo IV, explore the fate of Mephisto, and introduce a new region. More info will come this summer, so stay tuned!
