Diablo IV - Check Out New Short Story Teeth of the Plague

Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared a new short story for aRPG Diablo IV. While it can be read as a stand-alone, it also serves as the fourth entry in the Tales of Sanctuary series. Teeth of the Plague is written by Z Brewer and can be found on the official site.

“Tejal tells the tale of a holdfast infested with plague-carrying rats, and Kirek, the man tasked with removing them. In his years of dealing with the vermin, Kirek has done many foul and unspeakable deeds, but it seems the end is in sight. That is, until he stumbles upon a creature lurking in the dark—a creature said to have the soul of a thousand vermin, seeking the blood of its betrayer…”

The Tales of Sanctuary is a collection of free-to-read Diablo IV short stories introducing a cast of new characters, with a few familiar faces sprinkled in. With the release of Teeth of the Plague, the series is now complete. Ready for some Diablo IV lore?

Additionally, the game just received its first major update, version 1.1.1. Check out the official patch notes to see the full list of changes. Some of them include:

  • Barbarian and Sorcerer got some buffs;
  • Blizzard increased monster density in Nightmare Dungeons and in Helltide;
  • Level 35 and higher boss monsters will now have a 100% chance to drop a Legendary item;
  • Treasure Goblins have an increased chance to drop a legendary between levels 6 and 14 and a guaranteed drop at level 15;
  • Legion Events are now more rewarding and guarantee a Legendary item drop starting at level 35;
  • Screen Reader support for reading class icons has been added;
  • A variety of bug fixes & enhancements.
