Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC in November

It’s finally happening! After a year in console-only release. Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally coming to PC. Rockstar has announced that RDR2 will be released via the Rockstar launcher on November 5th. Players can preorder the game via the launcher beginning October 9th and learn more about the various editions available. Those who pre-order RDR2 will receive “special bonuses”.

PC players pre-ordering RDR2 will be able to choose two free games from the Rockstar library as long as the order is made before October 22nd. “Pre-purchases made on the Rockstar Games Launcher also include free upgrades to the Premium Editions of Red Dead Redemption 2, with both the Special Edition and Ultimate Edition discounted by $20 each.”

Bonuses include:

  • Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode
  • War Horse for Story Mode
  • Treasure Map for Story Mode
  • Cash Bonus for Story Mode
  • 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online

Beginning October 23rd, PC players will also be able to pre-purchase RDR2 at the Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, Gamestop, and other digital retailers. The Steam version will come in December.

The PC version will launch with all of the available content currently on consoles including enhancements to the story mode, graphical and technical improvements, Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons, and more. In addition, Red Dead Online comes along as a free content addition that allows players to share the world with friends and other RDO players. A number of improvements have been made here as well. These include Frontier Pursuits and specialist rewards.
