One of the more unusual titles we’ve seen this year has arrived for Nintendo Switch and PC. Annapurna Interactive has announced that I Am Dead is now available via the Nintendo eShop, Steam, and the Epic Games Store for $19.99. To celebrate the game launch, developers have released a brand new trailer showing off some of the environments and gameplay elements players can expect.
Despite its title, the game is said to be a “charming puzzle adventure game with a heartfelt story about exploring the afterlife”. Players take on the role of the recently deceased Morris Lupton. He teams up with Sparky, his ghostly pet dog, to save the island of Shelmerstone from a volcanic eruption. The two track down ghosts to uncover secrets that will help them save the island.

Morris and Sparky must unearth a number of Shelmerston’s lost and scattered ghosts. To find them, the duo must visit the places they spent time in, dive inside the memories of the people who knew them best, and learn the stories of their lives.
