EA has announced that its popular battle royale game, Apex Legends, is headed to Steam starting November 4th. This is not coincidentally the same day that Season 7 kicks off. The Steam version joins the Origin PC version as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. EA is expected to launch a Nintendo Switch version sometime in 2021.
If you’re new to AL, we can’t wait to welcome you aboard. And if you’ve previously been playing on Origin, you can easily switch back and forth with Steam—all your account progression and unlocks will carry over between the two platforms. To celebrate the big event, Steam players will receive free exclusive Portal and Half-Life inspired gun charms for logging in during Season 7.
