The developers of MMORPG Neverwinter have announced that the annual Lunar New Year event invites players to celebrate. It’s the Year of the Dragon! Envoys from Shou and Kozakura have arrived at the invitation of Lord Neverember and are seeking to share their traditional New Year festivities with the citizens of Neverwinter. It’s time to participate in Feast of Lanterns again!
The event will kick off on February 8th and will run through February 15th, so make sure to properly enjoy the festivities. Players have a chance to earn event currencies, Dragon Coins and Lunar Coins, by helping out with the festival. In addition to Lunar Coin Packs containing event currencies, items such as hairstyles, the katana-wielding Yojimbo companion, and previous year rewards are back in the Zen Market for a limited time during the festivities. These rewards include New Years’ Boar, Tiger, Ox & Rabbit mounts, a number of companions, Lunar Coinpurse, and more.
Event Quests will have players help out by setting off fireworks, delivering envelopes, and even comforting startled dogs. Completing Comfort Dogs event quest for the very first time unlocks the /pet emote. Scared pups may be hard to spot so keep your ears open for their whimpers to locate them!
