Following the introduction of the verdant strider Tighnari, the developers from Hoyoverse are back with the character demo for Collei titled “Sprout in the Thicket”. If there hadn’t been a written test, Collei would have gotten a good grade on her wilderness survival exam. It’s not just about protecting yourself, helping others is what counts.
Collei is a Dendro Archer and an Avidya Forest Ranger Trainee under Tighnari. She will be a playable character in Genshin Impact version 3.0. However, she is not exactly a new face: she was one of the main characters of a manga that outlined the activity of the Fatui in Mondstadt. Additionally, the Sumeru adventure journey got 2 new volumes. Volume 3 is dedicated to the “Puzzles” in the Forest – and contains spoilers! – while Volume 4 outlines new creatures and enemies for the Traveler to meet. Sumeru is filled with different types of Fungi, a life form made out of spores, and players will have run-ins with the Eremites – loosely-organized mercenary corps from the golden desert sands.
But even that is not all! Travelers will be challenged by Ruin Drake: Earthguard and Ruin Drake: Skywatch while also having to be on the lookout for the aggressive flora and fauna of Sumeru: Regisvine, Terrorshroom, Sumpter Beasts, Rishboland Tigers and more.
The developers have also revealed that the pre-installation function is now available on both PC and mobile platforms. After pre-installation is complete, Travelers can update the game and experience new version content faster.
