With the Genshin Impact Version 3.5 Phase II already out, complete with new banners, developer HoYoverse has taken to the official site with a new blog post. In it, the team introduces players to the upcoming event Fungus Mechanicus and shares gameplay tips.

Have you missed Bongo-Head and Kindlejoy? Then it’s time to grab your favorite Fungi friends and take on the challenges! In the upcoming event, you must command a group consisting of four Fungi to defeat all the Mechanici.
Choosing the Lil’ Fungi strategically to trigger more Elemental Reactions can make your battles much more efficient. Note that certain skills require for a target to be selected before they can be used.
Genshin Impact Version 3.5 Phase II events include:
- Character banners featuring the reruns of 5-stars Shenhe (Cryo Polearm) and Kamisato Ayaka (Cryo Sword). The boosted 4-stars are Diona, Sucrose and Mika;
- The weapon banner includes 5-stars signature weapons: Calamity Queller (Polearm) and Mistsplitter Reforged (Sword). The featured 4-star weapons are Wine and Song, Sacrificial Sword, The Bell, Favonius Lance and Favonis Warbow;
- Fungus Mechanicus (March 23 – April 3) – direct Lil’ Fungi to defeat all the Mechanici to obtain a variety of rewards such as Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Weapon and Artifact Ascension materials. Requires AR30+ and the completion of the Archon Quest “A New Star Approaches”;
- Spices From the West: Northerly Search (March 31 – April 10th) – make seasonings according to the provided recipes to receive rewards such as Primogems and Character Talent Materials. Requires AR20+ to create seasonings. Requires AR28+ and World Quest “Idle Teapot Talk” to cook the dishes and invite characters to taste-test;
- Ley Line Overflow (April 4 to April 10) – double drops from Blossoms of Wealth and Blossoms of Revelation;
