Developer HoYoverse continues to tease the fans of Scaramouche aka Wanderer. Following the character’s teaser and demo, the team is back with a new video dedicated specifically to the Anemo Catalyst’s gameplay. In Collected Miscellany for Wanderer, titled Any Way the Wind Blows in nods to Bohemian Rhapsody, players can learn more about his auto-attacks, Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst and talents.
“People often pray for a safe journey before embarking on a long trip.
But if the wind really listened to others, why would it still wander the world?”
From the previous teases from the developers we know that Wanderer is the latest 5-star Anemo Catalyst whose role is to deal damage at long range, utilizing his abilities to swiftly move across the battlefield mid-air.
Using his Elemental Skill allows him to leap into the air and enter the Windfavored state, gaining Kuugoryoku. Before exhausting it, the Wanderer can hover in the air. When he uses Normal and Charged attacks, they will be converted into Kuugo: Fushoudan and Kuugo: Toufukai respectively, which deal increased damage over a wider AoE.
Wanderer’s Elemental Burst deals multiple instances of AoE Anemo damage and can be cast while the character is hovering in his Windfavored state.
