Guilty Gear -Strive- Cross-Platform Beta Coming in February

Arc System Works has announced that a Guilty Gear -Strive- cross-platform beta event is coming in February. Players will be thrilled to hear that it is an open beta event meaning that anyone with a PC, PlayStation, or Xbox can participate. The open beta is expected to run from Friday, February 3rd, through Monday, February 6th. Developers are keen for players to understand that the client for this particular test is different from the GGS game client. Each platform’s store will have a download link available.

During testing, players can check out twenty-two characters, including “additional DLC characters.” In addition, a number of game modes will be present for players to try.

Game modes

  • Tutorial mode to learn the basics of how to play.
  • Mission Mode to learn useful techniques for matches in a mission format.
  • Survival Mode, where players fight consecutive battles against the COM with a limited pool of health.
  • Training Mode to recreate a variety of situations and practice.
  • VS COM, VS 2P, where players can fight against the computer or a friend.
  • Online Match (Rank Tower, Open Park, Player Match) to play online against others from across the globe.
  • Combo Maker allows players to make their own original combo or setplay and search for other players’ recipes to try.
  • Digital Figure lets players set up characters, furniture, effects, and more to create a unique scene.
  • Gallery where fans can check out the characters and BGM.
