Developer HoYoverse released the turn-based anime RPG Honkai: Star Rail on PlayStation 5, opening the way for thousands of new Trailblazers. The launch came hand-in-hand with latest Version 1.4 with all of its additions: new characters, zones, events and more. If you’ve wondered whether you should start this adventure across the starts, there has been no better time to jump into the game.
The first phase of Version 1.4 sees the banner of the long-awaited 5-star Ice Destruction character Jingliu, accompanied by a number of featured 4-stars including everyone’s favorite Foxian Tingyun. Jingliu is a DPS character that enhances her own attacks by entering a special state. In battle, she utilizes the special state to strengthen herself, have her Action Advanced, and use powerful abilities.
She was once the Sword Champion of Luofu, protecting the Xianzhou as clouds that cover the heavens. She was once a member of the High-Cloud Quintet, a transcendent flash who stole a sliver of moonlight… Then she fell victim to mara, was hounded by the Knights, and disappeared without a trace. Now that she has returned, would she be a friend… or foe?

However, the new banner is not the only thing that arrived in Version 1.4! The game also introduced a new large event that is sure to keep players busy while generously giving away Jades. It’s time to enter the Aetherium Wars!
The most influential online gaming brand in the universe is holding an offline tournament on Jarilo-VI.Using an Aether Coin, players can store creatures they’ve encountered in the form of an Aether. They can be manifested as Aether Spirits to battle against other players. “Collect, Battle, Train, and Upgrade” – that’s the Aetherium Wars motto.

- Realm of the Strange – while the event is active, Caverns of Corrosion will yield double rewards.
- Planar Fissure – double Planar Ornament drops from the Simulated Universe.
- Gift of Odyssey – check-in for a total of 7 days during the event to get Star Rail Special Pass x10.
