Funcom and Shiro Games have announced the release of the first post-launch DLC for Dune: Spice Wars. Called House Vernius of Ix, the DLC retails for $12.99 and offers players new content to explore. Players who purchase the DLC will be offered a new faction with its unique playstyles and tech. All players will gain access to a free update that enhances gameplay and adds over a dozen legendary characters.
Thanks to the DLC launch trailer, viewers get a peek at the new faction with its leader, Earl Rhombur Vernius, and the unique features it brings to gameplay.
As with any faction added to a strategy title, Ixians bring new bonuses, counselors, heroes, buildings, units, and more. Players will be able to completely shake up the meta by playing as part of this new faction.
