Yesterday mobile games publisher Nodding Frog and Heavy Metal legends Iron Maiden ushered in the “official” release announcement of their Iron Maiden: Legacy Of The Beast mobile game by introducing the arrival of a new PvP arena. This is being deemed an industry first based on the level of integration into a mobile space. Why? Because the PvP arena was designed based on Iron Maiden’s actual current touring stage set. Both drawing inspiration from a fantastical cathedral architecture to create a show-stopping environment in-game and on the band’s current 38 date European tour. Check out the sneak peek below as well as a shot of the tour’s actual set:
Legacy Of The Beast players can also look forward to the introduction of ‘Beast Eddie’ (seen below), the latest playable variant of the band’s famous mascot whose also the star of the game. Many other new characters from the world of Iron Maiden are expected to be making debut appearances in the game, as well, to celebrate their representation in the 2018 setlist. Over the coming months, fans can expect the arrival of such favourites as ‘Icarus’, ‘Two Minutes to Midnight Eddie’ and ‘Killers Eddie’. ‘Clansman Eddie’ was introduced into the game weeks ago, causing fans to speculate that the track “The Clansman” would appear on the live setlist! The mobile game is also integrating other elements of their live shows with a real-time character campaign that spans the duration of the tour.

Our development team have outdone themselves, producing an incredible representation of Iron Maiden’s latest live show in our Legacy of the Beast mobile game, offering fans old and new another exciting way to engage with the band’s music, theatrics, and their mascot Eddie, long after the encore!
Players of the game can also look forward to many more significant forthcoming new features and characters to collect over the coming months, including ‘Gauntlet’, Social Chat and the much anticipated ‘Night City’ game world and cast (inspired by Maiden’s early music catalogue and fledgeling East London roots).
Also feast your eyes, and ears, on these two semi-exclusive, awesome game launch videos (which you can’t find on YouTube just yet).
