Vermintide 2 gets a free update today and it’s time to return to a familiar stomping ground.
PC players can boot up Steam today and expect an update queued for Vermintide 2. The second in this series of bloody apocalyptic co-op brawlers is heading back to Karak Azgaraz. Fatshark are brining back the popular content from the first of these titles but with something of a bloody twist.
The new DLC includes a trio of totally remastered maps. Each of these contains their own challenge, sending the Ubersreik Five to help a struggling dwarf war party sabotage a Skaven army and turn the tide in their favor to successfully counterattack. Of course, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to throw your cash at. The new DLC also adds a new premium cosmetic set for this quarter— Helms of the Valorous. This features five new hats for players to wear in-game. Individual hats are priced at $3.99 each, or $11.99 for the set of five, and are available through the in-game shop, Lohner’s Emporium of Wonders.
The incredible new encounters are also coming to consoles. While PC players can get them for free right now, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One warriors can expect to leap in later in the summer 23023.
