A Hunter’s work is never done. Capcom released the first major title update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, adding new story elements, expanding existing systems such as Guild Cards, introducing new Steam achievements and, of course, fixing bugs and balance of the game.
Thanks to the update, new threats emerge: new monsters are appearing in Gathering Hub quests and new afflicted monsters have been added to the game. The update also adds a new quest system, Anomaly Investigations, that becomes available after completing the main story and progressing further in the game.
Players can look forward to the new locale: Forlorn Arena, new weapons, armor, layered equipment and skills. Additionally, Qurious Crafting is now available as a new feature at the Smithy.
As far as the systems go, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak got new Guild Card pages, awards and titles. Additionally, two new speech timings have been added to Auto Shoutouts: “When the monster is pacified” and “When the monster is delirious”.
