Adorable island adventure Moonglow bay will arrive on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation n 11 April.
Get ready to grab a rod and cast an eye over a new catch on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Adorable fishing RPG Moonlight Bay will finally make it to both platforms next month, with a new update in tow.
Putting players in, the wellies of a rookie angler and heading to a dilapidated old town, players re tasked with fulfilling your partner’s final wish. No pressure. Your only aim is to keep a picturesque coastal location from going bankrupt, and you’re going to do it by fishing. With a journal in hand, a fully loaded rod, and a quaint wee boat, you’ll head out into the coastal tides and see what you can catch.
Hauling in a variety of exotic fish is the best way to progress and you’ll catch fish, cook your haul or show it off at the local aquarium. Along the way, prepare to encounter mythical monsters, upgrade your ship, restore the town and build relationships by helping the locals, either alone, or via drop-in local co-op. Imagine mixing Dave the Diver with Story of Seasons.
“We’re unbelievably excited to bring Moonglow Bay to new audiences on Switch and PlayStation on April 11th” said creative director Zach Soares. “We’re also happy to be able to provide something new for fans on PC and Xbox who will get the free new update on the same day, giving them a fun new quest to delve into, along with a cool camera and some fun decorations!”
While scurvy sea dawgs on Switch and PlayStation will be dipping their toes in, PC and Xbox players can experience the latest updates. Unlocking on the same day as the new launch, the update adds a bunch of features to every version of the game. A camera mode will let you see things from your character’s point of view. This feature is tied to a new questline that starts with you discovering and repairing it, before you are drawn into a mystery where you will help uncover the skeleton of a long-lost sea creature, putting together its bones to figure out its legend. The update will also allow you to decorate your shabby shop, brightening it up with decorations and seating for your customers.
