New Astro A10 Headsets Ditch RGB For A Stylish Entrance

Not all gaming accessories need to be built around Rgb to be bold, and the new PlayStation and Xbox compatible Astro A10 headsets are a great example.

Logitech G seems to have taken at least a little inspiration from its eponymous range of gaming accessories, ditching the aggressive lines and harsh colors of yesteryear for the new iteration of the Astro A10 wired headset. This new generation looks likely to give PlayStation and Xbox owners style, comfort, and performance in a new package. The Astro A10 Gen 2 Wired Gaming Headset is a rebuild of the original A10 design, now available in five unique color options for a price of $59.99 USD or local equivalent.

Not only do the A10 Gen 2 come in Black, White, Mint, Grey, and Lilac, but this new headset still brings some performance to the table. Despite being tied to a console controller the custom-tuned 32mm ASTRO Audio dynamic drivers should provide a truly immersive experience. The advanced integrated boom microphone can also be flipped up to mute for privacy and down for crystal-clear comms via the 6.0mm unidirectional mic.

A Little More

The design and build of the latest A10 headset seems to go a little beyond what we’d normally expect from a gaming headset too. We’re not talking about the feather light 8.7 oz (246 grams) weight or the curved contours. The newest addition to the Astro range includes left and right braille indicators for those with visual impairments and is certified as CarbonNeutral. The plastic parts also include post-consumer recycled content, and the paper packaging comes from FSCTM-certified forests. Sure, financing carbon offset isn’t exactly the endgame but it’s a lot more than many manufacturers attempt. It’s nice to recognize that gamers do have interests outside of going full run and gun.
