New World Gets another Round of Nightveil Hallow

Nightveil Hallow

Baalphazu, Marquis of Terror returns to Aeternum as New World announces the start of Nightveil Hallow events.

Amazon Game’s MMORPG and scary island getaway, ne World, has announced that players are about to get a little tricky. Nightveil Hallow is set to arrive in game on 18 October. Running right up past Halloween until 14 November, this limited time update features everything you’d expect as the nights draw in.

The first update since Rise of the Angry Earth exploded onto desktops, this is more of a celebration. Players taking up the challenge will be able to banish the Marquis back to the darkness, don unique costumes, and trick-or-treat for new candy rewards. You can also purchase new and returning event-specific items in the Event Shop.

Costumes include the chance to transform your avatar into some of the game’s popular characters. These can be obtained from Town centrepieces and Baalphazu, and include:
• Captain Thorpe
• Adiana
• Anubian Reaver
• Lost Monarch

Once you’re dressed up, head out and search for hidden Treat Baskets. These might drop new armor pieces, Nightveil Tokens, or candy. If you want to doll out punishment on something new then The demon Baalphazu, Marquis of Terror, and his horde of ghoulish Pumpkinite are back. This level 66 World Boss awaits!

New World’s Nightveil Hallow event seems similar to the yearly events in Guild Wars 2, but that’s no bad thing. If you are done bashing Mad King Thorn then dip into New World and see what treats are in store.
