Infinity Ward has posted a new blog to lay out the details for this week’s patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The patch is expected to land on April 28th and will feature a number of bug fixes. It comes in at a hefty 15GB for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Players can look for a number of enhancements across several features in the game including:
- new measures to enhance security
- additional anti-cheat measures including updated matchmaking to pit cheaters against one another rather than with non-cheating players
- increased resources across the backend tech
- playlist updates
- bug fixes
There are also plans in the works to provide a “report-a-player” function. The goal is to add it to both killcam and spectator modes.
