Nintendo’s big news out of today’s Direct Presentation should get the hype meters running! Among all the other details announced for Switch and 3DS, two pieces caught our eye: Release dates for both Splatoon and ARMS!
Minds blown with Nintendo’s big news…
Splatoon 2 is easily the most anticipated game coming to Switch in 2017. With a successful open event held recently, most folks have had nothing but the best to say.
Here’s the day you want to call in sick so you can play: JULY 21st!
Splatoon 2 will come with a brand new 4-player coop mode called Salmon Run. In addition, some cool new amiibo figures will be released as well: Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy as well as Inkling Squid.
By teaming up with friends, players can take a part-time job battling the new Salmonid species, which the Squid Research Lab reports might even be more lethal than the Octarians! When players fall in co-op mode, teammates can revive them by inking them on the battlefield.
So with regard to ARMS. Switch owners should head over to their calendars to mark JUNE 16th!
This unique 1v1 or 2v2 fighting game gives you the chance to equip two ARMS for every fight. These can be gloved arms or curved weapons that include elemental damage on contact. You’ll see fire, ice or electricity activate when you land a big one.
The fast-paced game can be played in 1-v-1 matches or even 2-v-2* for more entertainingly chaotic battles. During the Nintendo Direct presentation, a new character was also revealed: the super-fast, ramen-armed Min Min.
