It is a dark time for fans of some older titles that are losing their online services. 90 games have been reported to have lost their online services, but are still playable offline. Ubisoft is probably trying to free up service resources for newer titles down the road. It only makes sense.
The full list of games has games that are loved by fans and some that may not be great. It should be noted that a lot of these titles are based around older consoles like Xbox 360 and PS3. Some titles will still be playable on more current-gen systems. Multiplayer based titles were also hit by these shut downs as well. Unlockable content like maps and skins have been disabled as well as new tickers and other items like that.
Ubisoft has not provided a reason as to why they are shutting down online services for this list of titles. The full list can be viewed here. It shows all of the games that are in question as well as the console or pc versions that have been affected. It is always good to free up space and services, especially for older, less played titles. All we can do is get ready for any new titles that will need these services.
