Fallout 76’s start has been stressful both for fans and for the developers. In addition to a number of technical difficulties and gameplay problems, the game had an issue with the $200 Power Armor Edition.
The package was said to come with a military-themed canvas bag in the description of the pre-order, but the fans actually have received a cheaper nylon bag. When the issue blew up, Bethesda issued an apology. All owners of Power Armor Edition (who provide proof of their purchase) received 500 Atoms – the game’s premium currency. The amount given roughly equals $5.
Needless to say, the gesture did not placate the fans. Now Bethesda is promising that the Power Armor Edition owners will get their canvas bags after all.
