Genshin Impact players on PS4 should grab the “Required Resource Package” now.
Anybody who hasn’t caught the news might want to sweep out some space on their PlayStation 4. Genshin Impact just got a humongous 16GB patch that’s only for PlayStation 4 consoles. Dubbed a “Required Resource Package,” this new download was announced on the 11th of December, and is available to grab now.
The patch only impacts PlayStation 4 systems, and it seems that it will be a required component of the client once version 4.3 goes live. The intended aim of this download is to help with overall storage and performance on Sony’s elder console, according to a news post.
“Dear Traveler,
To better support the storage of Genshin Impact on PS4™ devices, the developers will launch a “Genshin Impact: Required Resource Package” for Genshin Impact on PS4™.”
The package is already available, and it’s assumed that once the new system goes live, that it should bring the overall storage requirements own. until then, you’ll need a fair chunk of drive space to accommodate it.
