Double Fine announced yesterday that the sequel to the side-scrolling samurai brawler from 2013, Samurai Gunn, will be launching in early 2019. Coming to the Nintendo Switch and PC, Samurai Gunn 2 will follow an assortment of heroes as they fight against a mad emperor to change the fate of Gunn City.

Players can also jump into some versus action with a group of two or four friends and battle it out across new levels with improved controls and a host of new characters. With a host of new mechanics, levels and characters it’s sure to be a welcome treat for both fans of the original and newcomers alike.
With the release of Samurai Gunn 2 comes a new graphic novel titled Trigger Soul, from acclaimed comic creator Valentin Seiche.
