D3 Publisher Inc. sent out a word that the latest title in the beloved EDF franchize, Earth Defense Force 5, will release for western markets this fall.
Earth Defense Force 5 finds players taking up arms to defend Earth against a hostile alien invasion. In addition to hordes of alien insect invaders the series is famous for, the next installment in the fan favorite franchise also introduces a series-first with new humanoid aliens from the mysterious planet, Primer. The pre-orders are now available in PlayStation Store. Players can choose between the Standard and the Deluxe Edition that includes full access to all future DLC content, exclusive missions, weapons and more.
