Sandbox Interactive has announced that the much-anticipated Albion Online “East” server has officially launched. The original MMO server is now known as the “West” server. With the additional server, players now have a choice of where to play. The East server offers players an untouched version of the game with faster connection speeds and optimized events for players, particularly those in the Asia Pacific region.
Features of the Asia Pacific server:
- Greatly improved connection speeds and ping for the whole Asia-Pacific region
- A new and untouched version of the game, where all players start as equals and can claim their own piece of Albion
- A game world that is fully separate and independent from the existing “Albion West” server
- Timings of game and server events (territory battles, Crystal League, Faction Warfare, maintenance, etc.) that are optimized for the region
Those who are interested in a head start can still purchase a Founders Pack. Founders Packs offer players a number of rewards that are able to be claimed on either server. Rewards include exclusive limited-time items alongside Gold and Premium currencies.
The very first official guild season on Albion East kicks off March 25, with a special shorter season that will feature Tripled Points during the final month. All players can participate and earn valuable rewards, whether or not they are part of a guild. This time around, in addition to Fame Boosts, Battle Mounts, and Avatars, rewards include new Direwolf Skins. Guild Seasons run independently on each server, with the winners on each server getting their own custom statue in Conquerors’ Hall.
