Titan Forge will host the annual SMITE esports championships in Arlington, Texas. During the event, viewers and attendees can enjoy high-octane matches and other fun, celebratory events all centered around the beloved MOBA. This includes a cosplay contest, a build-a-god panel, and much more. However, unlike the preceding eleven years, the team will be announcing at 8:30 a.m. Pacific / 11:30 a.m. Eastern during the SMITE Presents keynote address that will reveal a “massive evolution” in the game.
This very special announcement will reveal the most massive evolution SMITE has ever been through. What is coming will change it forever and is the coming of a new age for SMITE as a game, a universe, and a community of players. All of Titan Forge Games are infinitely proud and eager to share their excitement with the fans and the wider world! In SMITE, lightning will strike twice.
The keynote address will be live-streamed via the SMITE Twitch channel beginning at the times listed above.
What the announcement could mean remains unclear. In years past, Titan Forge has announced new maps, gods, game modes, cosmetic rewards, battle passes, and more. However, this year’s revelation could be game-changing if the press notice is to be believed. What are your predictions?
What else is happening at the SWC?
- The Conquest competitive mode has rotated to the fourth and final map of the year. Balance tweaks have been made to Gods and items, though structural changes were minimized to keep the meta intact for the event.
- The current Battle Pass has some sweet loot for players to earn:
- Camelot’s King Maui skin and eight other skins are honoring esports teams. Some can be earned via the free Battle Pass, others through the Premium (paid) Battle Pass.
- During the Colorforge: Worlds Collide event, players can purchase a Tier 5 skin from over a decade ago: Coolseidon Poseidon
- The annual cosplay contest
